Lesa’s Introduction
Hi, I’m Lesa,
Hi, I'm Lesa! I'm a Waldorf kindergarten teacher based in the Bay Area, and I’m deeply passionate about my work. My journey into Waldorf education began organically, through raising my own children in the Waldorf tradition. That experience sparked a lifelong love for this unique, holistic approach to teaching and learning.
Before transitioning into education, I worked as a paralegal, but I always felt a strong pull toward helping, teaching, and serving others in a more creative and nurturing environment. As a teacher, I bring a vibrant energy and a wildly creative spirit into the classroom. I love diving into the arts with my students—whether it's painting, storytelling, music, or movement—and I strive to inspire them to explore their own creativity and sense of wonder.
In addition to teaching, I'm currently studying anthropology at the College of Marin and taking French classes with the dream of one day buying a home in France. I have an adventurous spirit and a deep love for nature—hiking and spending time outdoors are essential parts of my life.
I bring warmth, curiosity, and a deep commitment to nurturing young children and helping them grow into confident, creative, and compassionate individuals.
