Hi, meet Amaya!
Looking for housing in Riverside starting Summer 2026, ideally by August 1st!
Amaya’s Bio
Amaya is close to completing her Bachelor of Theater Arts degree at Old Dominion University. Last year, she moved back to California to be closer to family that lives out here, while she completes her degree remotely and pursues a career in acting and directing.
Amaya understands that the home is a private sanctuary; she is deeply respectful of personal boundaries and prioritizes clear, consistent, and respectful communication to ensure that the rhythm of the household is maintained in a way that feels both supportive and unobtrusive for both parties. Colleagues and supervisors who have worked with Amaya, including at the Norfolk Yacht and Country Club and a daycare in Virginia, describe her as being adaptable and bringing a composed and steady energy to her work.
Described herself as somewhere between “left leaning” and Democratic
Up to date and willing to continue with vaccinations
Is “mahjong-curious” since seeing women play frequently at the Yacht Club where she worked
Excited to share meals and cook
Has demonstrated consistently strong communication, follow-up, and professionalism with the team
